What are the serviceable areas of Snap Movers Co?

We have ground personnel in the National Capital Region, Cebu, and Davao. We a network of agents in Bacolod, Dumaguete, Iloilo, Tagbilaran, Roxas, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Iligan, Ozamis, Zamboanga, Cotabato, Dipolog, and General Santos City. Check out here for the areas we have served. 

What types of freight do you ship or deliver?

We cater to nearly all types of general commodities. The Bureau of Customs restricts shipments of certain items, such as lumber, magic sugar, endangered species, explosives, pirated DVDs, and money—coins, currency, paper money, negotiable instruments equivalent to cash such as endorsed stocks, bonds, cash letters, cheques. So we can not cater to any of these.

How about vehicles? 

Yes, we arrange the loading, transport, and discharge of your vehicles from port of origin to the port of destination; may it be trucks, cars, or motorcycles. In the industry, we call it rolling cargo. Should you wish to avail, please prepare in advance the following documents:

  • Official Receipt

  • Certificate of Registration

  • Deed of Sale (for second-hand vehicles)

  • Delivery Receipt & Sales Invoice (for brand new vehicles)

What do you consider in making a quotation for a freight service?

We consider different aspects such as volume, weight, declared value, special handling requirements, delivery, and pick up location as well as time requirements.

What are the available modes of payment?

  • Prepaid. Paid by the shipper in cash.

  • Charge Account. Charge to the shipper, cash or cheque.

  • Freight Collect. Charged to the consignee, cash or cheque.

How should I know the transit time of my cargo?

On average, the sea transit time of general commodities from Manila port to Davao port is four days; and from Manila port to Cebu port is three days.

However, extra time should is for docking and cargo unloading. The cargo ship sailing schedules are not fixed and could change anytime.  We highly recommend booking your cargo for shipment a week or two before the vessel’s Estimated Time of Departure.

How to file a claim for lost or damaged goods?

As much as possible, we strive to have your cargo be in good hands. However, when the turn of events causes loss or damage to your commodities, you can do any of the following to file a claim:

Please know in advance that we require the following documents in a filing.
    • A copy of the waybill 
    • Formal Claim Letter 
    • Invoice
